Q: Where is Dakota Outfitters located,
and how do I get there?
A: Dakota Outfitters is located a few miles
South of I-70 at exit 193 and just East of Cambridge, Ohio. If
you plan to fly, we are conveniently located between 3 major
airports: Columbus (CMH), Akron/Canton (CAK) and Pittsburgh (PIT)
and offer complementary pickup/dropoff from any of these locations.
Q: How many days is this hunt at Dakota
Outfitters?
A: Each of the hunts at Dakota Outfitters
is a FULL 3 DAY hunt with the opportunity to hunt an additional
half day when you arrive and a half day on your departure date.
You may arrive anytime after NOON on your scheduled date and
leave anytime before noon on your scheduled departure.
Q: Will I be bunking in a room with
several people?
A: No. All rooms at Dakota Outfitters are
semi-private rooms to private rooms.
Q: How much are license and trophy fees?
A: Dakota Outfitters is an All-Inclusive
hunting preserve. Your hunt package includes transportation to/from
the airport, your animal, caping and dressing of your trophy,
and all the food you can eat/drink. There are no trophy fees,
no license fees and no other hidden fees.
Q: Does Ohio require a hunting license?
A: Any out-of-state resident is not required
to have a hunting license to hunt with Dakota Outfitters. However,
Ohio residents are required by the state to have a valid hunting
license.
Q: Are there any additional fees or
penalties if I would like to harvest a larger deer?
A: No. You may elect to purchase a larger
size deer and pay for the upgrade in class for that deer.
Q: Am I required to tip my Private Guide
and lodge staff?
A: As with any service industry, tips are
always optional. Any tips you choose to give to your private
guide or lodge staff are at your discretion.
Q: What kind of weapon can I hunt with
at Dakota Outfitters?
A: You can hunt with any weapon of your
choice including rifle, muzzleloader, bow or crossbow.
Q: What do I need to bring?
A: The fall season in Ohio can be very
unpredictable. It is best to come prepared for any condition
by bringing lots of layered clothing. Our blinds can be heated,
if necessary. Dont forget to bring your binoculars and
rain gear. Although we take many hunt photos of you and your
trophy to send home with you, most people like to bring their
own camera as well.
Q: How much extra is the high-definition
DVD video of my hunt?
A: Zip-zilch-nadda. No matter what hunt
package you choice, you will have a HD DVD made of your trophy
hunt to take home to share with friends and familiy.

Q: I have dietary restrictions and am
on a special diet. Do I need to bring my own food?
A: No. At the time of booking, Dakota Outfitters
will ask you if you have any special dietary needs or restrictions
and will prepare meals to meet your needs.
Q: Must I pay for my hunt if I do not
wound or kill a deer?
A: No! Any monies paid outside of your
deposit will be refunded to you. Your paid deposit will roll
over to a new scheduled hunt for a future date.
